⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Optimization is the easiest way to manufacture a beautiful backtest that means nothing; this skill's whole discipline exists to refuse exactly that, and even a disciplined fork can fail live. Curated by Skill Harbor: the improvement specialist of DaviddTech's ai-trading-agent repo, a persona prompt that searches the Trader Dev strategy library for systems showing signs of life (a positive profit factor with poor drawdown, good entries with poor exits, strength on one pair but untested elsewhere), forks one, reads its Pine Script until the logic is fully understood, and only then changes it, under a written improvement hypothesis. Every addition must solve a specific weakness: regime detection, volatility filtering, entry timing, exit structure, stop placement, cooldowns, false breakout protection. Indicator soup is explicitly out. The fork is backtested against the original across multiple random crypto pairs from the top 100 Bybit listings and multiple timeframes (15m to 4h), compared on profit factor, drawdown, win rate, trade count and long/short splits, and checked for the usual lies: too few trades, one outlier trade carrying the result, repainting, future-looking logic, collapse outside the original market. The cycle can run inside a 15-minute agent loop and ends with a structured report and a keep, reject or iterate decision; dead strategies are to be abandoned, not optimised forever. From the DaviddTech/ai-trading-agent repository (MIT). Honest caveats: it needs the third-party Trader Dev platform and its strategy library, the loop format can burn many backtests (and tokens) if left running, and a fork that beats the original in-sample has earned more testing, not trust. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Strategy Optimizer" with your Muse. Prerequisites: access to the Trader Dev MCP backtesting platform (a third-party service; check its current terms), including its strategy search, since the workflow starts from mcp__trader-dev__search_strategies. Research and backtesting only; nothing here places an order. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/DaviddTech/ai-trading-agent/blob/main/skills/strategy-optimizer/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Find one strategy with a real but flawed edge, explain its logic and its main weakness, and state your improvement hypothesis before changing anything." 3. Keep the fork only if it beats the original across several pairs and timeframes without relying on one outlier trade, and file the full cycle report either way. Tip: set a hard number of cycles in advance; an optimizer loop with no stopping rule will happily overfit all night. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. An improved backtest is a hypothesis, not evidence of future profit. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
