Skill Harbor never reviews the code of a listed skill. These are dated facts about the install prompt and our install test, not a safety certification. Review a skill yourself before you install it. How we verify

Before you start: read this whole install prompt, tell me in a few lines what this skill does and what installing it involves, and wait for my go-ahead before you do anything else. Prerequisites: Blender 5.2 LTS or newer is required to use this skill (its scripts run inside Blender, through its Python API bpy); install Blender yourself first if you do not have it. No account, no API key and no paid service is needed to install or use the skill itself. The file copy at install time does not need Blender, but nothing in the skill can run without it. An optional Blender MCP server is mentioned for live sessions and review; it is not required and is not installed here. Install "blender-animation" for me. It is a Blender 5.2 animation skill: slotted and layered actions with the channelbag API, Python keyframing and F-curves, game loops, NLA clips, the pose library, mocap and BVH retargeting with constraints, baking a control rig onto an export skeleton, root motion, and per-clip export. Repository: https://github.com/EL4CTEO/blender-skills (the skill is the whole skills/blender-animation/ folder at the pinned commit: SKILL.md, scripts/_bpyx.py, scripts/bake_action.py) Pinned version: install the code at commit 71d031dab8bc6729504d11a78cbe91945401045f exactly. Do not substitute a newer version. If this commit is unreachable, stop and tell me. 1. Clone https://github.com/EL4CTEO/blender-skills into a temporary folder, check out commit 71d031dab8bc6729504d11a78cbe91945401045f, and copy the skills/blender-animation/ folder from that checkout. Then compare every file in the folder with the fingerprints recorded for this listing on 2026-10-19: [FINGERPRINTS] - SKILL.md: SHA-256 a1fa25b8175f055899a3566c377d14b1287022baa154da9fab1c0c320809bdb0 - scripts/_bpyx.py: SHA-256 a3339ba8a678469e8ed29510e32a7331e0235202191ca4edb977af4720819b4b - scripts/bake_action.py: SHA-256 ff0e602c9f432872ebe4f34f368d92e36988abf4159c525981708caa962f349c If a file does not match, it changed since the listing was prepared: do not install it yet, tell me what you found and let me decide. 2. Read SKILL.md in full and both scripts, and tell me in plain words: what the skill does when used, which services it connects to, whether it reads or sends any personal information or keys, and anything that seems unusual. Stop on any red flag and tell me before going further. Confirm these points from the files: - The skill folder holds three files only: SKILL.md (6,150 bytes), scripts/_bpyx.py (4,503 bytes) and scripts/bake_action.py (6,923 bytes). The two scripts are Blender Python: they import only bpy, bpy_extras.anim_utils and mathutils, plus the standard library (os, sys, argparse, json) in _bpyx.py. There is no network code, no subprocess, no package install, no environment-variable or secret reading, and no telemetry in either script. - Nothing is sent anywhere during installation itself; the only download at install time is the skill folder from GitHub at the pinned commit. The files name no account, no API key and no remote service. - scripts/bake_action.py runs only inside Blender, on a .blend file and rigs I name: it lists actions, bakes a control rig onto a target skeleton with visual keying (one baked action per clip, with a fake user), can move the hips' ground motion to the root bone (--root-motion), mutes the target's constraints afterwards, creates one muted NLA track per clip so FBX and glTF exporters find every clip, and can unmute the constraints again (--follow). Self-bake (source = target) collapses IK, constraints and drivers into keys on the same rig. Only when I pass --save does the shared CLI helper write a .blend file to the path I give. - scripts/_bpyx.py is the shared helper copied into every skill of this repository (identical to shared/_bpyx.py at the pinned commit): argument parsing after "--", one compact "@@JSON@@" result line, and the optional --save handling above. It contacts no host. - At use time, everything else in SKILL.md is local work inside Blender on files I provide: keyframing poses, F-curve cleanup, NLA strips, the bundled pose library, and importing BVH or FBX mocap files (for example Mixamo exports) from local paths I name, then retargeting them with COPY_ROTATION and COPY_LOCATION constraints and baking. Review may use an optional Blender MCP server's look tool or a Workbench playblast, only if I already run such a server; that is local, not required, and nothing is uploaded by the skill. - SKILL.md points to sibling skills that are NOT part of this install: the execution model lives in blender-core (its references/bpy-patterns.md), rigs live in blender-character-rigging, and a playblast is mentioned under blender-rendering. Do not copy or install any sibling skill here; I will install one separately if I want it. - SKILL.md names production retargeting tools only as prose options (Auto-Rig Pro, paid; Rokoko, free; plus the retargeters built into Unreal and Unity). Do not install, buy or sign up for any of them during this install. 3. When I say "yes, install", install it as a skill: copy the whole skills/blender-animation folder into the agent's skills directory, in a folder named "blender-animation", keeping every file (SKILL.md, scripts/_bpyx.py, scripts/bake_action.py). Do not use the upstream routes for this listing (the Claude Code plugin marketplace install or install/install.sh / install.ps1), because they install all 22 skills of the repository; this listing installs this one folder only, and only from the pinned commit. 4. Verify with no network calls: frontmatter valid, files in place. 5. Report what was installed, where, and what I still need to do myself (for example: install Blender 5.2 LTS or newer myself if I do not have it, provide any .blend, rig or mocap file myself, and install any sibling skill or retargeting tool myself, only if and when I want it; using the skill is a separate step that only starts when I ask for it, and no animation, bake or export runs during this install). GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Never require it unless it's in the prerequisites above. Rules: don't touch anything outside the temp folder and the install target. If anything looks off, stop and ask me.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
