⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Trading involves real risk of loss, and a high screener score is not a promise of returns. Curated by Skill Harbor: a full implementation of William O'Neil's CANSLIM growth-stock system, all seven components scored with the original weights: Current earnings (15%), Annual growth (20%), Newness and new highs (15%), Supply and demand (15%), Leadership via multi-period weighted relative strength (20%), Institutional sponsorship (10%), and Market direction (5%). Stage 1 pulls data from the Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) API with a Finviz fallback for institutional ownership, progressively filters the universe to save API calls, and produces a 0 to 100 composite score with interpretation bands (Exceptional at 80+, Strong at 70+) in JSON and markdown; the Market component gates the results in bear markets. It runs on Python 3.9+ with requests, beautifulsoup4, and lxml. From the tradermonty/claude-trading-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: an FMP API key is required (the free tier's 250 calls per day covers roughly 35 stocks; screening more needs FMP's paid Starter tier at $29.99/month, the skill itself is free). CANSLIM is a momentum-growth method with a long history and real drawdowns; it is not suited to value or income investing, and the method's own rules say to raise cash when the market component turns hostile. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "CANSLIM Screener" with your Muse. Prerequisite: this skill needs a Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) API key in the FMP_API_KEY environment variable. The free tier (250 calls/day) covers about 35 stocks; larger screens need FMP's paid Starter tier ($29.99/month). The skill itself is free and open source. Python 3.9+ with requests, beautifulsoup4, and lxml. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/tradermonty/claude-trading-skills/blob/main/skills/canslim-screener/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Run a CANSLIM screen on [universe or sector] and rank the results by composite score." 3. Work from the ranked report: check the Market (M) component first, and treat high scores as candidates for your own research, not as buy signals. Tip: start on the free tier with a small universe to learn the report format before paying for broader screens. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Never paste your FMP key into the chat itself, set it as an environment variable. Trading involves real risk of loss; this is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
