Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into Muse📌 Pinned version: commit b5b319fThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Before you start: read this whole install prompt, tell me in a few lines what this skill does and what installing it involves, and wait for my go-ahead before you do anything else. Prerequisites: none for the install itself: no account, no API key, no paid service, and nothing else to install first. Using the skill afterwards is a separate step with its own requirements, disclosed below: Node.js 18 or later, Playwright with Chromium, and poppler are needed to build the PDF locally, plus LibreOffice only when the source material is a PPT file. Do not install any of those tools during this install. Install "handout-remake" for me. It turns lecture material (slides, PDFs, notes) into a dark-mode study handout re-taught from scratch for an 11-inch iPad in portrait: life context, plain-language definitions with Chinese-English term pairs, diagrams, formulas, worked examples, practice pages with dotted writing areas and answers on the following page, ending in a fully vector PDF. The handout text itself is written in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), per the reader settings at the top of SKILL.md. Repository: https://github.com/xamjiang/handout-remake (the skill is the skills/handout-remake/ folder at the pinned commit) Pinned version: install the code at commit b5b319f9e2f6b6a5b62e922be6f5fc9769f356d5 exactly. Do not substitute a newer version. If this commit is unreachable, stop and tell me. 1. Clone https://github.com/xamjiang/handout-remake into a temporary folder, check out commit b5b319f9e2f6b6a5b62e922be6f5fc9769f356d5, and copy the skills/handout-remake/ folder from that checkout. Then compare every file in the folder with the fingerprints recorded for this listing on 2026-10-19: [FINGERPRINTS] - SKILL.md: SHA-256 d38b771bb9ff8aa2a5ec43583186bd0d9a6d7b47773fc6d52d0825194bab05f1 - assets/handout.css: SHA-256 40bb49ede5474f92be1c968725e112323cf25c6bb493b3fdedf90f248f195353 - assets/package.json: SHA-256 9b22d21c51a0498892d59bd530f4784881418ec3143464b9bcada1560b039b69 - assets/template.html: SHA-256 6deaf7c8755b6cf5d7eb9d27b6b572839ed7d31e52ce2830d15ed9b9a041d73e - scripts/build.mjs: SHA-256 d48ec3d2461dee31490e43b7a54701dda0e5cf78cdd506c987fae68da7433666 If a file does not match, it changed since the listing was prepared: do not install it yet, tell me what you found and let me decide. 2. Read SKILL.md in full, plus assets/package.json, assets/template.html, assets/handout.css and scripts/build.mjs, and tell me in plain words: what the skill does when used, which services it connects to, whether it reads or sends any personal information or keys, and anything that seems unusual. Stop on any red flag and tell me before going further. Confirm these points from the files: - The skill folder holds five files: SKILL.md (11,292 bytes, the teaching, layout and diagram rules), assets/handout.css (16,670 bytes, all styles and the colour palette), assets/template.html (10,067 bytes, one skeleton page per page type; its Ohm's-law content is a demo to replace), assets/package.json (343 bytes, pinned font and KaTeX versions) and scripts/build.mjs (4,908 bytes, the local PDF build script). There is no other code in the folder. - Nothing is sent anywhere during installation itself; the only download at install time is the skill folder from GitHub at the pinned commit. No file names an account, an API key, telemetry or a remote service, and build.mjs makes no network calls: it loads only local files, renders KaTeX from the local node_modules, and prints the PDF through a local headless Chromium. - At use time, everything runs locally on material I provide: SKILL.md converts PPT sources with soffice --headless, extracts text and page thumbnails with pdftotext and pdftoppm, re-teaches one small section (about 6-12 slides, 12-18 pages out), writes the HTML from template.html, builds the PDF with node build.mjs, checks every page for overflow, and re-computes every example and answer number with code before delivery. It also says to verify an uncertain fact in a life example rather than guess it. - The use-time environment setup in SKILL.md runs npm install in a separate work folder (copying handout.css, template.html, package.json and build.mjs into it first): that downloads the pinned packages named in assets/package.json (@fontsource/inter, @fontsource/jetbrains-mono, @fontsource/noto-sans-tc and katex) from the npm registry. If Playwright is not already available locally, the fallback is npm i playwright, and npx playwright install chromium downloads the Chromium browser. Those downloads happen only when the skill is used, never during this install. On a local Claude Code or Codex setup, the README also lists installing Node.js and poppler (and LibreOffice for PPT sources), for example with brew install node poppler; hosted platforms that run code in their own sandbox handle that side themselves. - The scope is personal study handouts from my own course material: one section per handout, fixed page types (opener, concept, example, practice, answer, review), answers always on the page after the practice, and a pre-delivery checklist (no overflow, fonts not Type 3, no raster images, every number re-computed). The README asks that handouts made from a teacher's material stay for personal study and not be redistributed. The docs/, tools/ and README files of the repository are documentation and packaging helpers, not part of the skill, and are not installed. 3. When I say "yes, install", install it as a skill: copy the whole skills/handout-remake folder into the agent's skills directory, in a folder named "handout-remake", keeping all five files in their subfolders (assets/ and scripts/). The upstream route, cloning the repository and copying skills/handout-remake into ~/.claude/skills/ (or ~/.codex/skills/ for Codex), installs the same folder; either route is fine as long as every file matches its fingerprint. 4. Verify with no network calls: frontmatter valid, all five files in place. 5. Report what was installed, where, and what I still need to do myself (for example: provide the lecture material myself, and, only when I actually use the skill locally, install Node.js 18+, Playwright with Chromium and poppler myself — plus LibreOffice only for PPT sources; using the skill is a separate step that only starts when I ask for it, and the use-time npm and Chromium downloads disclosed above happen only then). GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Never require it unless it's in the prerequisites above. Rules: don't touch anything outside the temp folder and the install target. If anything looks off, stop and ask me.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
