⚠️ **Finance warning / Avertissement finance** : informational only, not investment advice. Reconciling several methods into one range adds discipline, not certainty: every band inherits the assumptions and data quality of its method, and no concluded range here is a promise of return or a guarantee that a buyer or a market will agree. Curated by Skill Harbor: the valuation analysis skill of the investment banking pack in andreworia/claude-finance-skills, the synthesis skill that sits above the pack's DCF, comps, precedents and LBO skills. Use it when one defensible range across methods is the deliverable: pitching a target, setting a fairness range, or preparing a board discussion where each method must be shown and reconciled. The method runs in eight steps. It frames the subject first (enterprise versus equity value, valuation date, share count and net debt for the bridge, LTM and forward metric base), selects the method set that fits the situation (standard bands are trading comparables, precedent transactions and DCF, plus an LBO-implied floor or a 52-week range where relevant), then runs each method on its own terms: comps screened and cleaned with consistent numerator and denominator pairing, precedents with paid multiples and control premia adjusted for cycle and synergy with strategic and sponsor buyers separated, the DCF with dual terminal value and a check on terminal value as a share of total value, and the LBO check solving for the entry price a sponsor could pay at a target return with leverage held at levels a lender would actually fund. Each band is plotted on one common axis with the single driver of its width labeled, and the conclusion weights methods by reliability for the situation, notes where bands overlap, discounts outliers with a stated reason, and lands on one concluded range: control situations lean on precedents and the LBO floor, minority reads lean on trading comps and the DCF. The worked example in the file is fictional and illustrative. From the andreworia/claude-finance-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: this skill coordinates the other methods rather than replacing their inputs; peer data, deal data and DCF assumptions are all yours to supply and to check. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Valuation Analysis" with your Muse. Prerequisites: the subject's LTM and forward EBITDA, EBIT and EPS, net debt, minority interest, preferred and diluted shares for the bridge, peer and precedent candidates (or permission for Muse to propose them), and DCF assumptions or the underlying operating model. This skill coordinates the comps, precedents, DCF and LBO methods, so having those sibling skills from the same pack helps; every figure and assumption remains yours to verify. Informational only, not investment advice. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/andreworia/claude-finance-skills/blob/main/packs/investment-banking/skills/valuation-analysis/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Run the full valuation: each method as its own band with the driver of its width, the football-field summary on one common scale, then the reconciliation and one concluded range with its rationale." 3. Ask which methods were weighted most and which outlier was discounted, and why, before you quote the range anywhere. Tip: decide first whether the situation demands a control value or a minority read; that choice, made explicit, is what makes the weighting defensible. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Analysis only, no orders and no account access. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
