Telegram Reader

Read your Telegram channels and groups for market news with the tdl CLI: list chats, find a channel, and export recent messages or a date range.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Telegram channels are unedited, anonymous-friendly feeds where pump calls, copied headlines and confident nonsense travel at the same speed as real news: treat every signal claim as unverified, and acting on channel tips carries a real risk of loss. No output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: a read-only reader for Telegram built on tdl, the Telegram CLI, aimed at financial news and market research. It lists your chats and channels with filters (channels only, or a name search for that one news channel you half remember), and exports messages from a channel or group as structured JSON: the last N messages, a time range, an ID range, or a single topic thread, always with text content included rather than media only. Presentation leads with the most relevant updates, each with its timestamp and source channel, groups messages from several channels by theme (macro, earnings, crypto), and calls out breaking news, price targets and earnings surprises as claims to verify, not facts to repeat. It can also run several accounts through tdl namespaces when you keep work and personal Telegram apart. From the himself65/finance-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: this reader is honest about reading a third-party platform through your own account and tools: tdl logs in as you, interactively, by QR code, phone code or an existing official Telegram Desktop session, and you enter any code yourself, the skill must never handle your password or two-factor codes; private channels stay private, the reader only sees channels your account has already joined, and a channel you have not joined answers as inaccessible; Telegram flood-wait rate limits are real and are answered by waiting; some Linux installs run a script with admin rights, so the skill says to confirm with you or use your package manager; and the reader is strictly read-only, it sends nothing, joins nothing and leaves nothing. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Telegram Reader" with your Muse. Prerequisites: the tdl CLI installed (Homebrew on macOS is the default route; on Linux prefer your package manager over the admin install script), and a one-time interactive login with your own Telegram account, by QR code, phone code, or import from the official Telegram Desktop app. You enter every code yourself: never give a password or two-factor code to the agent or paste one into the chat. The reader only sees channels and groups your account has already joined. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/himself65/finance-skills/blob/main/plugins/social-readers/skills/telegram-reader/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text (the skill also reads its included references/commands.md, keep the repo folder handy). 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "List my Telegram channels, then export the last 20 messages from [CHANNEL] and give me the market-relevant updates grouped by theme, with timestamps." 3. Read channel content as claims, not facts: note the source channel for every item, and cross-check any price target, earnings surprise or breaking headline somewhere reliable before repeating it. Tip: start every session by confirming the login still holds (a one-line chat list check); an expired session looks like empty channels until you re-authenticate. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions plus a read-only CLI; it never sends messages and never joins or leaves channels. Informational only, not investment advice, and channel tips are unverified by definition.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
