Using this skill requires the extension installer extensions/seranking/install.sh (outside this listing) to have been run: it refuses to run if the claude-seo base is not installed, asks for your SE Ranking API key, copies this SKILL.md into ~/.claude/skills/seo-seranking/ and writes the key as env.SERANKING_API_KEY in ~/.claude/settings.json. The key is the key of your own PAID SE Ranking account (API at https://seranking.com/api.html): it lets the skill query the SE Ranking REST API for AI Share-of-Voice, SERP positions, backlink profiles and competitor gaps under your account, and before any call the text requires verifying SERANKING_API_KEY is present in ~/.claude/settings.json env (telling the user to run the installer if absent). Usage is unit-metered: the text states a single AI visibility query costs about 5 units (1 per platform) and that spend is logged across vendors through the family launcher's dataforseo_costs.py module.
