Bullish Trend Scanner

Ranks your watchlist by bullish momentum: a composite score from moving averages, RSI, MACD and EMA crossovers, ADX, and momentum, with the next earnings date attached.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. A high momentum score describes a trend that already happened; it is not a promise the trend continues. Curated by Skill Harbor: a momentum ranking for the watchlist you bring. Give it a comma-separated list of tickers and it scores each one, up to about 9.5 points, from price versus its 20 and 50 day moving averages, RSI bands, MACD position and histogram direction, EMA 9/21 and MACD crossovers and their freshness, ADX trend strength, and period momentum, then returns the names ranked strongest first with price, distance from the averages, the indicator values, the signals that fired, and the next earnings date and timing for each. Scores above 6 read as a strong bullish trend, 4 to 6 moderate, below 2 bearish or trendless, which turns the question of what looks good today into a sorted answer in one pass. It runs as a Python script (scripts/scan.py, needs pandas, pandas-ta, and yfinance) from the staskh/trading_skills repo. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: it scans only the symbols you supply, not the whole market, so the ranking is only as good as the list you feed it; the score is a transparent heuristic, not a buy list, and trend tools lag at turning points and whipsaw in range-bound markets; Yahoo Finance data is unofficial and can be delayed. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Bullish Trend Scanner" with your Muse. Prerequisites: clone the repo once (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills) and keep the folder handy; the skills live in .claude/skills/ and the scripts run from the repo with uv (uv run python), or with plain python if uv is not installed. This skill needs pandas, pandas-ta, and yfinance, installed through the repo project. No API key and no brokerage account are required; price data comes from Yahoo Finance via the free yfinance library (unofficial, possibly delayed). 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/scanner-bullish/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Scan AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, NVDA, TSLA, AMD, AMZN, META for bullish trends over 3 months and rank them by score, showing the signals that fired and the next earnings date for each." 3. Check the earnings column before admiring a top score: a strong trend running into a report this week is a different risk than the same trend with a quiet calendar. Tip: feed it your actual watchlist on a schedule rather than one-off tickers; score changes between scans are the useful signal. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. This is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
