A single person pickup meal planner for McDonald's China. From one sentence (budget, store or location, must have items, items to avoid, pickup time) it builds at most three candidate meals from the live menu and your store coupons, prices every candidate with the official calculate-price tool, and compares them locally: payable total, budget left, and the coupon or member conditions used. It is read and price only by design: its direct MCP client allows exactly five tools (query-nearby-stores, query-meals, query-store-coupons, query-meal-detail, calculate-price) and refuses everything else. It never orders, pays, claims coupons, redeems points or adds an address. A batch run can save the quotes and a local HTML report in a private records folder on your machine.

Before you start: read this whole install prompt, tell me in a few lines what this skill does and what installing it involves, and wait for my go-ahead before you do anything else. Prerequisites: Account and token required before any real use: a McDonald's China MCP token. The listing is free, and activating the token is described upstream as free. Get the token yourself, in person, because it needs mobile phone number verification: go to https://open.mcd.cn/mcp , sign in with your mobile phone number, open the console at the top right, click Activate, agree to the service agreement, and copy the token. Then configure the McDonald's China MCP server: name mcd-mcp, type streamablehttp, URL https://mcp.mcd.cn , header Authorization: Bearer <your token>, or set the MCD_MCP_TOKEN environment variable where the skill reads it that way. Keep the token only in your own private client configuration or environment: never commit it, never share it, and never paste it into a shared chat. Upstream states a limit of 600 requests per minute per token (429 above that). This skill uses the McDonald's MCP connector already enabled on your own machine. Its direct client reads the token from the MCD_MCP_TOKEN environment variable, or, only when you explicitly pass --use-workbuddy-config, from the mcd-mcp entry of your local ~/.workbuddy/mcp.json file (read on your machine, never printed, never modified). You also need Python 3.10 or later. Scope is deliberately narrow: single person, pickup at one store, no delivery, no multi store comparison, no splitting a bill. Install "McDonald's Budget Meal" for me. It builds at most three pickup meals for one person inside your budget, prices each one with the official calculate-price tool, and compares them. It never orders or pays. Repository: https://github.com/Sam-Hui-dot/mcd-budget-meal (the skill is the whole skills/mcd-budget-meal/ folder at the pinned commit: SKILL.md, references/meal-plan.md, references/quote-format.md, references/report-template.html, references/workbuddy-compatibility.md, scripts/compare_meals.py, scripts/mcp_query.py, scripts/quote_meals.py, scripts/report_meals.py) Pinned version: install the code at commit ac254b0824618542673cb4e2bcdeccf43a58b35c exactly. Do not substitute a newer version. If this commit is unreachable, stop and tell me. 1. Clone https://github.com/Sam-Hui-dot/mcd-budget-meal into a temporary folder, check out commit ac254b0824618542673cb4e2bcdeccf43a58b35c, and copy the skills/mcd-budget-meal/ folder from that checkout. Then compare every file in the folder with the fingerprints recorded for this listing on 2026-10-18: [FINGERPRINTS] - SKILL.md: SHA-256 bd6db2cde6ee285a9ee75aba3b7228e784a015eb5ccb5d85e7ab9d54880ba6cf - references/meal-plan.md: SHA-256 58dbb285308730508b2556c96616497196669e36f413ada56587c90d5019f922 - references/quote-format.md: SHA-256 8c4430985afb61bc2724578b9035e227023e3c5efe6de715bf21da9f108609cd - references/report-template.html: SHA-256 d2491f0369b2c2ecb44eae642275b2b558d1a040b927e1647f52ad85ea3ad4ed - references/workbuddy-compatibility.md: SHA-256 47737dda2614eb00af05c70d3a3df162ef531351f48a64b1e0f1db5f51739826 - scripts/compare_meals.py: SHA-256 4343a1bed9527d5f89655dbcceaa82226fa6c1b2656d91862b96d42c66aeef55 - scripts/mcp_query.py: SHA-256 2b5430854d007679144f6f5a1b8a34ab23d7e0a0f61c31fd9e66dc612231c633 - scripts/quote_meals.py: SHA-256 282be4c21384ba0fe7d71ce7dac02c095ea88ad2cc5d53b9bf5860a9b7f46077 - scripts/report_meals.py: SHA-256 370d1e4fc3dcafe7eea327956baf67d51b961283e7c57ac538408de9d9bde49f If a file does not match, it changed since the listing was prepared: do not install it yet, tell me what you found and let me decide. 2. Read SKILL.md in full (and every other file in the folder) and tell me in plain words: what the skill does when used, which services it connects to, whether it reads or sends any personal information or keys, and anything that seems unusual. Stop on any red flag and tell me before going further. Confirm these points from the files: - The skill folder holds SKILL.md, reference files (meal-plan.md, quote-format.md, workbuddy-compatibility.md and a 2.5 MB report-template.html) and four Python scripts: mcp_query.py (the direct MCP client), quote_meals.py, compare_meals.py and report_meals.py. The scripts are Python standard library only. The 2.5 MB HTML template is a static local report shell that makes no requests when opened. - At use time, the only network destination is https://mcp.mcd.cn (Streamable HTTP POST, Authorization: Bearer token, redirects refused by the client). The client allowlist holds exactly five read or price tools: query-nearby-stores (only with a location you provide yourself), query-meals, query-store-coupons, query-meal-detail and calculate-price. The arguments sent are the store, pickup mode, reservation time, the meal items and options of each candidate, and the coupons being checked, so the server receives your token, your store choice, the location you gave for the store search, and your candidate meals, and returns menus, store coupons and official prices. The token comes from the MCD_MCP_TOKEN environment variable, or from your local ~/.workbuddy/mcp.json only when you explicitly use --use-workbuddy-config; it is never printed and the config is never modified. Quote records (the exact tool arguments and responses, with timestamps) are saved only in a private records folder on your machine, and the batch flow writes comparison.json and meal-report.html there; opening the report sends nothing. Your location is not saved into any public file, per the SKILL.md. - There are no write tools at all in this skill: it does not call create-order, any payment tool, auto-bind-coupons, any points redemption tool, or delivery-create-address, and its client refuses any tool outside the five above. On a 429 it stops the round instead of retrying, and on a parameter error it stops instead of probing with other parameter shapes. - Nothing is sent anywhere during installation itself; the only download at install time is the skill folder from GitHub at the pinned commit. The listing and the token are free; any meal you later buy is bought by you through official McDonald's channels, never through this skill. 3. When I say "yes, install", install it as a skill: copy the whole folder into the agent's skills directory, in a folder named "mcd-budget-meal", keeping every file (SKILL.md, references/meal-plan.md, references/quote-format.md, references/report-template.html, references/workbuddy-compatibility.md, scripts/compare_meals.py, scripts/mcp_query.py, scripts/quote_meals.py, scripts/report_meals.py). 4. Verify with no network calls: frontmatter valid, files in place. 5. Report what was installed, where, and what I still need to do myself (for example: get the McDonald's China MCP token myself at https://open.mcd.cn/mcp with my mobile phone number if I do not have one, put it only in my own private MCP client configuration or environment variable and never paste it into a shared chat, install Python if it is missing, and set up the mcd-mcp connector to https://mcp.mcd.cn if it is not configured; using the skill is a separate step that only starts when I ask for it, and any order, coupon claim or booking happens only as disclosed above). GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Never require it unless it's in the prerequisites above. Rules: don't touch anything outside the temp folder and the install target. If anything looks off, stop and ask me.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
