Curated by Skill Harbor — Source-available under Anthropic's terms (not Apache-2.0, not open source — see the licence note on this listing): a complete workflow for anything involving a presentation file — creating decks from scratch with pptxgenjs, reading decks with markitdown, editing or rebuilding decks from templates by working on the slide XML, adding, duplicating, reordering and cleaning slides with helper scripts, and a required quality pass that validates the file format and renders every slide to images for visual inspection. It carries detailed design, typography and layout guidance and a frank list of the file-corruption traps in the libraries it uses. Everything runs locally on the user's own files; the companion scripts are run at use time, never during installation. By @anthropics, listed here with credit to its creator. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into Muse📌 Pinned version: commit dbd4588Before you start: read this whole install prompt, tell me in a few lines what this skill does and what installing it involves, and wait for my go-ahead before you do anything else. Prerequisites — Source-available licence warning first: this skill is NOT Apache-2.0 and not open source. Its own LICENSE.txt (read it in the folder) says use of these materials is governed by my agreement with Anthropic for its services (or, with no separate agreement, Anthropic's Consumer or Commercial Terms of Service), and its additional restrictions include not retaining copies of these materials outside the Services, not distributing them to any third party, and not creating derivative works. Installing this folder copies the materials onto my machine: only proceed if my own Anthropic agreement covers that, and stop and tell me if that is not clear. No account, key or payment is needed to copy the files, and no companion script is run during installation — the Python helpers in the folder are copied as-is only. At use time (not during install) the skill needs the pptxgenjs npm library (stated as preinstalled, npm install only if requiring it fails), Python with markitdown, Pillow, defusedxml and lxml, LibreOffice and pdftoppm from Poppler, all running locally on my own files. Install "PPTX" for me. It handles a presentation file as input, output or both: create a deck with a pptxgenjs script (with detailed gotchas on layouts, colours, charts, icons and the option objects the library mutates), read a deck as text with markitdown or as a labelled thumbnail grid, edit an existing deck or fill a template by unzipping it and editing the slide XML, duplicate slides only through its add-slide script, clean orphaned parts after deletions, then run its required quality checks — a format validator, a text check for leftover placeholders, and a visual pass over slide images rendered through LibreOffice and Poppler. Its folder holds the main instructions, a proprietary LICENSE.txt, Python companion scripts, and the Office XML schema and validator library shared with the other Anthropic document skills. Repository: https://github.com/anthropics/skills (the skill is the whole skills/pptx/ folder at the pinned commit: SKILL.md plus 55 companion files, 56 files in total) Pinned version: install the code at commit dbd4588f9e1033efb41dad4bef2f7947c8993d44 exactly. Do not substitute a newer version. If this commit is unreachable, stop and tell me. 1. Clone https://github.com/anthropics/skills into a temporary folder, check out commit dbd4588f9e1033efb41dad4bef2f7947c8993d44, and copy the skills/pptx/ folder from that checkout. Read SKILL.md in full, and tell me in plain words: what the skill does when used, what it connects to, whether it reads or sends any personal information or credentials, and anything that seems unusual. Stop on any red flag and tell me before going further. Confirm these points from the files: - The folder holds 56 files: SKILL.md, LICENSE.txt (proprietary, Anthropic terms), 15 Python files (add_slide, clean and thumbnail helpers, the LibreOffice wrapper under scripts/office/, and the validator library), and 39 Office XML schema (.xsd) files that are data schemas used by the validators, not programs. Nothing in the folder is run during installation; the scripts are copied as-is. - Nothing is sent anywhere during installation itself; the only download at install time is the skill folder from GitHub at the pinned commit. No presentation of mine is read, converted or sent during installation. - At use time everything the skill describes runs locally on my own presentation files: unzipping and editing their XML, running the companion Python scripts, and converting through my local LibreOffice and Poppler tools to render and inspect slides. The instructions name no third-party service to send decks to. - The licence point from the prerequisites is part of the safety picture: these materials are source-available under my Anthropic agreement with the restrictions in LICENSE.txt, not Apache-2.0. Do not present them as open source, and do not redistribute the installed folder. - Do not run any companion script, do not convert or open any deck of mine, and do not use the skill in any way during this install: using it is a separate step that only starts when I ask for it later. 3. When I say "yes, install", install it as a skill: copy the whole pptx folder into the agent's skills directory, in a folder named exactly "pptx", keeping its 56 files in their original relative layout (SKILL.md at its root). 4. Verify with no network calls: frontmatter valid (name: pptx), the 56 files in place with matching fingerprints. Do not run anything from the folder and do not use the skill to verify. 5. Report what was installed, where, and what I still need to do myself (for example: that using it needs a local setup with pptxgenjs, markitdown and the listed Python libraries, LibreOffice and Poppler, that its files are source-available under my Anthropic agreement (not Apache-2.0) with the restrictions in its LICENSE.txt, and that its companion scripts run only at use time, on my own files, locally). GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Never require it unless it's in the prerequisites above. Rules: don't touch anything outside the temp folder and the install target. If anything looks off, stop and ask me.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
