⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. This skill reads a real brokerage account; rebalancing suggestions are analysis, not instructions to trade, and investing involves real risk of loss. Curated by Skill Harbor: a portfolio review workflow that works from your actual holdings instead of hand-typed numbers. It connects to the Alpaca MCP Server to pull account equity, buying power and cash, every current position with quantity, cost basis and market value, and portfolio history, then analyzes asset allocation, diversification and sector concentration, risk metrics, and each individual position, and finishes with rebalancing recommendations in a detailed report. If the MCP server is not connected, the skill walks you through setup using its included reference (references/alpaca-mcp-setup.md), and a REST fallback exists for environments where MCP tools are unavailable: a connection-check script verifies the account and positions endpoints and prints a redacted diagnostic, placing no orders and writing no report. From the tradermonty/claude-trading-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: an Alpaca brokerage account is required, and the credentials (ALPACA_API_KEY and ALPACA_SECRET_KEY) belong in environment variables, never pasted into a chat, a report, or a commit; start with a paper-trading account (ALPACA_PAPER=true) until you trust the setup. Analysis is only as current as the Alpaca data feed, and the skill analyzes and recommends; it does not manage money for you. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Portfolio Manager" with your Muse. Prerequisite: this skill needs an Alpaca brokerage account and the Alpaca MCP Server configured in your agent (or Alpaca API credentials set as environment variables for the REST fallback). Start with a paper-trading account. Never paste your Alpaca keys into the chat. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/tradermonty/claude-trading-skills/blob/main/skills/portfolio-manager/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text (setup details live in its included references/alpaca-mcp-setup.md). 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Analyze my portfolio: allocation, risk, and any positions I should review" or "Should I rebalance? Show me the drift from my targets." 3. Read the report as analysis: verify any suggested change against your own plan and tax situation before placing orders yourself. Tip: run the included connection check first; it confirms account and positions access with a redacted summary and places no orders. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Keep brokerage credentials in environment variables only, never in chat. Investing involves real risk of loss; this is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
