Options Payoff Chart

An interactive payoff chart for any options strategy: expiry profit and loss plus the Black-Scholes theoretical value, sliders for strikes, premium, IV, and days to expiry, and live max profit, max loss, and breakevens.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Options carry a real risk of loss, including the full premium paid, and a payoff chart shows math, not a recommendation. Curated by Skill Harbor: an interactive payoff visualizer for options positions. Describe a strategy in plain words, paste strikes and premiums, or share a broker screenshot (IBKR, TastyTrade, Robinhood), and it detects the structure (vertical, calendar, diagonal, and ratio spreads, butterflies, condors and iron condors, straddles, strangles, covered calls, protective or naked puts, or a custom multi-leg mix), then renders a chart with two curves: the expiry payoff and the Black-Scholes theoretical value at the current time and volatility. Sliders let you move strikes, premium, quantity, implied volatility, days to expiry, the risk-free rate, and the spot price, while stat cards update max profit, max loss, breakevens, and the theoretical profit or loss at spot. Missing details are filled with stated defaults rather than silently invented, and the spot comes from a live quote where possible instead of being read off strike labels. From the himself65/finance-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: the skill is built for a chat surface that can render an interactive HTML widget; without one, your agent can still generate the same chart as a standalone HTML file to open in a browser. Theoretical values rest on Black-Scholes assumptions (constant volatility, no early exercise), so American-style options, dividend effects, and assignment risk can make real outcomes differ, and a screenshot with cropped or misread legs will produce a confidently wrong chart, so check the detected legs before trusting the curves. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Options Payoff Chart" with your Muse. Prerequisites: a chat surface that can display an interactive HTML widget for the chart (without one, ask for a standalone HTML file instead). Optional: Python 3 with yfinance for a live spot quote. No API key and no brokerage account are required. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/himself65/finance-skills/blob/main/plugins/market-analysis/skills/options-payoff/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text (the skill also reads its included references/ files on strategy formulas and Black-Scholes code, keep the repo folder handy). 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add your position, for example: "Show me the payoff for an iron condor on [UNDERLYING]: sold the [strike] put and [strike] call, bought the [strike] put and [strike] call, net credit [premium], expiring [date]." A pasted broker screenshot works too. 3. Check the detected legs against your real position before reading the chart, then use the IV and days-to-expiry sliders to see how time and volatility change the picture. Tip: ask "what happens if the spot moves to [price] by [date]" to read the theoretical curve at the scenario you actually care about. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself and places no trades. Options involve real risk of loss; this is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
