⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Headlines explain moves after they happen at least as often as they predict them, and a sentiment read is not a trading signal. Curated by Skill Harbor: the recent story flow around a stock, gathered in one question. The skill pulls the latest Yahoo Finance news for a ticker (ten articles by default, adjustable) with headline, publisher, date, and link for each, and adds a brief summary of the overall sentiment across the coverage, so asking what is happening with a stock gets an answer with sourced headlines instead of a bare price move. Paired with the fundamental and technical skills in the same repo, it covers the third leg of a quick review: what the company reported, what the chart shows, and what is being said about it right now. It runs as a small Python script (scripts/news.py, needs yfinance) from the staskh/trading_skills repo, with timestamps in New York time. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: coverage is limited to what Yahoo Finance aggregates, headlines can repeat across outlets or lag the events themselves, and the sentiment summary is a short qualitative read of those headlines, not a measured score; always open the source article before treating a headline as fact. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Stock News Sentiment" with your Muse. Prerequisites: clone the repo once (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills) and keep the folder handy; the skills live in .claude/skills/ and the scripts run from the repo with uv (uv run python), or with plain python if uv is not installed. This skill needs yfinance, installed through the repo project. No API key and no brokerage account are required; the news comes from Yahoo Finance via the free yfinance library (unofficial aggregation). 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/news-sentiment/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Get the latest news for TSLA: the 10 most recent headlines with publisher and date, and a short summary of the overall sentiment." 3. Open at least one source article before repeating a headline as fact; syndicated repeats can make one story look like five independent ones. Tip: run it next to the fundamentals and technical-analysis skills from the same repo for a three-part picture: reported numbers, chart, and story flow. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. This is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
