Curated by Skill Harbor: the central skill of the KiCad collection, and by far the largest (about 10,400 words). It reads KiCad projects end to end: schematics, PCB layouts, footprints, symbols, netlists and design rules, plus PDF schematics from development boards, reference designs and evaluation kits. It reviews a design for bugs, traces nets, cross-checks schematic against PCB, extracts bill of materials data, and checks design rule checks, electrical rule checks, design for manufacturing, power trees and regulator circuits. Every finding carries a confidence label and an evidence source, with a trust summary rollup, so a review reads as checked claims rather than guesses. It supports KiCad 5 through 10, and it is the hub the other skills in this batch plug into: the distributor skills feed it part data, and the EMC and SPICE skills build on its analysis. By @aklofas, listed here with credit to its creator. Honest caveats: the SKILL.md is very long, so an agent with a small context window will struggle with the full file; distributor lookups need their own API credentials (see the distributor fiches); and a review is guidance for an engineer, not a substitute for a final human check before fabrication. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Quick answer
KiCad Project Analysis is a free Muse skill that reads KiCad schematics, PCB layouts and PDF schematics. It reviews designs, traces nets and cross-checks schematic against PCB, with a confidence label and evidence for every finding. KiCad 5 to 10 supported; its long file can strain small windows. A review guides an engineer, it does not replace a human check.

A deep analysis skill for KiCad projects and PDF schematics: schematics, PCB layouts, Gerbers, footprints, symbols, netlists and design rules, with evidence-backed design reviews. Repository: https://github.com/aklofas/kicad-happy/tree/main/skills/kicad 1. Fetch the SKILL.md file (plus its references/, review/ and scripts/ folders) from the repository into a temporary folder and summarize what it does in one or two sentences. 2. Safety check: review the SKILL.md and scripts for anything suspicious (unexpected network calls, shell commands, credential harvesting). It must never contain hardcoded secrets. Verify that holds here; STOP on any red flag and tell me. 3. Install it as a skill: copy SKILL.md and its helper files into the agent's skills directory, in a folder named "kicad". 4. Verify with no network calls: frontmatter valid, files in place. 5. Report what was installed, where, and what I still need to do myself (e.g. point it at a KiCad project folder). GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Never require it unless it is in the prerequisites above. Rules: do not touch anything outside the temp folder and the install target. If anything looks off, stop and ask me.

Questions
How do I install a skill?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the skill up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a skill before installing it.
