⚠️ **Finance warning / Avertissement finance** : informational only, not investment advice. This skill connects to a REAL Interactive Brokers account and, in execute mode, it can place, replace and cancel real trailing stop orders on that account: a trail set too tight can sell you out of a position on ordinary noise, a trail set too wide protects little, there is a real risk of loss on every position it touches, and no output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the IB trailing stop manager of staskh/trading_skills. Use it to protect stocks and naked LEAPS with IB native TRAIL orders: once placed, Interactive Brokers itself adjusts the stop trigger upward as the price climbs and locks it as the price falls, so the protection runs server-side even when your machine is off. The reference price is the higher of the current price and your average cost, so a trail never starts below entry unless forced mode deliberately uses the current price to re-arm after a drawdown; the initial stop is the reference minus the trail percentage (20 percent by default) or minus a fixed dollar amount. Existing TS_ trail orders are preserved by default, precisely because IB has been ratcheting them since placement and replacing one would reset the tracked high; forced mode cancels and replaces them, and orphan trails for gone positions are cancelled in execute mode. PMCC positions are intentionally excluded: a standalone trailing stop on the PMCC long leg would break the hedge at trigger, so PMCC protection belongs to the ib-stop-loss skill instead. Default mode is dry-run, no orders are placed unless execute is explicitly in the request. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: this runs against your real account through TWS or IB Gateway on your own machine, port 7497 is paper trading and port 7496 is the live real-money account, and the skill retries on the other port if the first fails, so check which account you are actually connected to before any execute run and start on paper; your credentials belong only in the local gateway or in environment variables such as IB_PORT, never in a chat. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "IB Trailing Stop Manager" with your Muse. MAXIMUM WARNING, READ FIRST: this skill connects to a REAL Interactive Brokers account through TWS or IB Gateway running locally with the API enabled, and in execute mode it CAN place, replace and cancel real trailing stop orders on that account. Port 7497 is paper trading by default and port 7496 is the live real-money account. Start on paper trading, verify the account shown in the report before any execute run, and remember the skill retries on the other port if the first one fails. Your credentials stay only inside the local TWS or Gateway login or in environment variables (IB_PORT), never paste them into a chat. Prerequisites: the staskh/trading_skills repo cloned locally, uv (or Python) with the trading-skills dependencies including ib-async, and stock or naked LEAPS positions in the account (PMCC positions are excluded by design, use the IB Stop-Loss Manager for those). Informational only, not investment advice, and there is a real risk of loss on every position. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/ib-trailing-stop/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Run the IB trailing stop manager in dry-run mode only, for the symbols I name: show the existing TRAIL orders, the reference price and the initial stop per position, and which positions would get a new TS_ order. Do not execute anything." 3. Only after you have checked the dry-run report, the account type (paper on 7497 versus live on 7496) and every trail amount, ask explicitly for an execute run if you still want the TRAIL orders placed. Tip: leave existing TS_ orders alone unless you mean to reset them; IB has been ratcheting them since placement, and forced mode throws that tracked high away. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself, but the script it drives talks to your real broker account. Dry-run by default, execute only on your explicit word. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
