IB PMCC Advisor

A Poor Man's Covered Call checkup on your Interactive Brokers portfolio: short-leg assignment risk, daily profit projections, red flags, and the top three roll candidates per spread.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. This advisor analyzes positions in a real brokerage account; a roll it suggests moves real money when you act on it. Curated by Skill Harbor: a dedicated checkup for Poor Man's Covered Call positions (a long LEAPS call financed by a short near-term call) held at Interactive Brokers. The advisor scans your IB portfolio, identifies each diagonal spread, and for every short leg reports delta, implied volatility, and a model assignment probability, then projects daily profit and loss out to the short expiry, flags the dangerous ones (assignment probability above 40 percent, fewer than 7 days to expiry, earnings landing inside the short window), and ranks the top three roll candidates under strict rules (delta at or under 0.40, net credit no worse than a small debit), ending in a side-by-side comparison and a hold, roll, or close recommendation. The default answer is a concise inline summary, with a full markdown report only when you ask for one. It runs as a Python script from the staskh/trading_skills repo against TWS or IB Gateway on your machine. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: start on the paper account before trusting it near live positions; the assignment probability is a Black-Scholes model estimate (N(d2)), not a guarantee, and early assignment around dividends or deep in-the-money shorts can ignore it; roll candidates are analysis, and as documented the skill executes nothing itself. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Use "IB PMCC Advisor" with your Muse. ⚠️ REAL BROKERAGE ACCOUNT, READ THIS FIRST: this skill analyzes positions in your Interactive Brokers account through TWS or IB Gateway running on YOUR machine with the API enabled. You log in inside TWS or Gateway yourself; never paste account credentials, passwords, or account numbers into a chat. The default port 7497 is a PAPER account with simulated money; port 7496 is your LIVE account with real money. Run it on paper first. Its roll suggestions are analysis only, but acting on them trades real money, so review every number before you place anything yourself. Prerequisites: an Interactive Brokers account holding (or paper-simulating) diagonal call spreads, TWS or IB Gateway installed and running locally with API access enabled, and the repo cloned (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills); scripts run with uv (uv run python) or plain python. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/ib-pmcc-advisor/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Analyze my PMCC positions on the paper account: for each diagonal spread, show the short leg delta, IV, and assignment probability, the daily profit projection, any red flags, and the top 3 roll candidates." 3. Treat any spread flagged for assignment probability above 40 percent, under 7 days to expiry, or earnings inside the short window as a decision to make today, not at expiry. Tip: ask for the full markdown report before a roll decision; the daily profit table shows the date where holding longer stops paying. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself, and as documented this advisor analyzes and recommends, it executes no trades. This is informational only, not investment advice, and your IB credentials stay in your local gateway, never in a chat.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
