⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Connected to the live port, this skill reads quotes against a real brokerage account, and a live chain invites live trades: option prices move fast, futures options add their own margin and expiry rules, and trading on any of it carries a real risk of loss. No output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the option chain for one symbol and one expiration, fetched from Interactive Brokers itself instead of a free web source. It covers equities and ETFs and also futures options (FOP), the coverage free sources handle badly: the asset type is resolved from IB contract details with no hardcoded symbol table, trying a SMART stock first and falling back to a future when no stock exists, so NQ, GC and RTY resolve as futures while AAPL resolves as a stock; roots that are both a stock and a futures root (ES is Eversource, CL is Colgate) default to the equity, with a flag to force the future. Each call and put comes back with strike, bid, ask, last price, volume, open interest, implied volatility, the IB model greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) and, for futures, the contract multiplier, next to the underlying price; you list the available expirations first, then fetch one expiry, and the agent presents the chain as a table with high-volume strikes and notable IV levels highlighted. It runs as a Python script (scripts/options.py, needs the ib-async library) from the staskh/trading_skills repo, against TWS or IB Gateway on your own machine. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: what you see depends on your own IB market data subscriptions, and index or futures data without the right entitlement simply will not populate; for futures, only expiries up to the front continuous future are returned, so longer-dated futures options need the next quarter's contract; and the automatic port fallback shared by this repo's IB skills means you should confirm which account type answered before trusting the numbers. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Use "IB Option Chain" with your Muse. ⚠️ REAL BROKERAGE ACCOUNT, READ THIS FIRST: this skill connects to Interactive Brokers through TWS or IB Gateway running on YOUR machine with the API enabled. You log in inside TWS or Gateway yourself; never paste account credentials, passwords, or account numbers into a chat. The default port 7497 is a PAPER account with simulated money; port 7496 is your LIVE account with real money. Start on paper, and know that if the configured port fails the skill retries the other port, so always confirm which account type answered before trusting the numbers. Prerequisites: an Interactive Brokers account, TWS or IB Gateway installed and running locally with API access enabled and the market data subscriptions your symbols need (index and futures options data are separate entitlements), and the repo cloned (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills); the skill needs the ib-async library, installed through the repo project, and its scripts run with uv (uv run python) or plain python. Set IB_PORT in your shell or a .env file if you do not want the default. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/ib-option-chain/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Connect on the paper port, list the expirations for SPY, then fetch the nearest chain as a table with bid, ask, volume, open interest, IV and greeks, highlighting the high-volume strikes. Tell me which port and account type answered." 3. For a futures root like NQ or GC, check the asset type in the output before reading prices, and force the asset type flag when a root is ambiguous (ES, CL). Tip: because futures quote nearly around the clock on Globex, the greeks populate pre-market, which makes this the chain to check before the equity open. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. As documented this skill fetches and reports chains and places no orders. This is informational only, not investment advice, and your IB credentials stay in your local gateway, never in a chat.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
