Hyperliquid Positions

Read perp positions and margin, set leverage and margin mode, add isolated margin, check protection, and close positions cleanly with reduce-only orders.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. The reads in this skill are safe, but its write actions (leverage changes, isolated margin adds, closes) act on a real account: on mainnet they move real margin and can change a position's liquidation price immediately. Curated by Skill Harbor: the positions and margin skill of HyperGrok, Galleon Labs' seven-agent trading desk for Hyperliquid. It starts from the concepts that decide whether a position survives: cross margin shares one pool across positions while isolated margin risks only its own; leverage is set per market and capped by margin tiers that shrink as notional grows; maintenance margin and liquidation are computed on the mark price, and the exchange's own liquidation price per position is the number to trust, never a recomputation. The reads pull positions, margin used, unrealised PnL, funding paid and liquidation distance from the account state, seconds before any action rather than from a stale brief. The writes are fenced to the desk's Execution Trader role on an approved ticket: setting leverage and margin mode before the entry it belongs to, adding isolated margin, and closing with an opposite reduce-only IOC sized from the live position. The clean-up teaching is unusually careful: after a full close, cancel the orphaned take-profit and stop orders; after a partial close, never sweep the stop that still protects the remainder, and replace a fixed-size stop at the correct size before cancelling the old one. A protection check verifies, per position, that a reduce-only trigger of the right side and size is actually resting on the exchange. From the galleonlabs/hypergrok-trading-desk repository (MIT). Honest caveats: testnet tiers are far tighter than mainnet, so rehearsals flatter nothing about mainnet margin; and a position left unprotected between two actions is exposed for exactly as long as the gap lasts. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Hyperliquid Positions" with your Muse. Prerequisites: the reads need only your account address (HYPERLIQUID_ACCOUNT_ADDRESS) and curl or the Python SDK; the write actions (leverage, isolated margin, closes) additionally need the signing key in the HYPERLIQUID_PRIVATE_KEY environment variable or a local key file, an approved desk ticket, and your network set via HYPERLIQUID_NETWORK (testnet is the desk default; rehearse writes there first). Never paste a private key into a chat. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/galleonlabs/hypergrok-trading-desk/blob/main/skills/hyperliquid-positions/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Read my positions and margin now: size, entry, mark, unrealised PnL, leverage and mode, liquidation distance per position, and whether each position has a resting reduce-only stop protecting it." 3. Treat any write as a ticket: state what changes (leverage, margin, liquidation price) before sending, and re-read the account state seconds before a close rather than trusting an earlier snapshot. Tip: after a partial close, the position still needs its stop; check protection again before doing anything else. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself, but its write actions act on a real exchange account. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
