Stock Fundamentals

Financials, earnings, and key metrics from Yahoo Finance, plus a Piotroski F-Score that grades a company's financial strength on nine checks.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Strong reported numbers do not make a stock a good buy at any price, and a strength score is not a valuation. Curated by Skill Harbor: a company's reported numbers and a financial-strength grade in one pass. The main script pulls Yahoo Finance fundamentals for a ticker: key metrics (market cap, P/E, EPS, dividend), recent quarterly and annual income statement lines, and earnings history with estimates to compare against. A second included script computes the Piotroski F-Score, nine yes-or-no checks on profitability, cash flow quality, leverage, liquidity, dilution, margins, and asset turnover, each scored and shown, for a grade from 0 to 9 of financial strength, the screen value investors use to separate improving balance sheets from deteriorating ones. It runs as Python scripts (scripts/fundamentals.py and scripts/piotroski.py, needs pandas and yfinance) from the staskh/trading_skills repo. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: Yahoo Finance figures are unofficial and can lag or differ from primary filings, so verify decision-critical numbers in the company's own reports; the F-Score's year-over-year checks need two years of annual data and are marked unavailable when the data is missing; a high score describes accounting strength, not a cheap price or a sound investment. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Stock Fundamentals" with your Muse. Prerequisites: clone the repo once (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills) and keep the folder handy; the skills live in .claude/skills/ and the scripts run from the repo with uv (uv run python), or with plain python if uv is not installed. This skill needs pandas and yfinance, installed through the repo project. No API key and no paid data subscription are required; the data comes from Yahoo Finance via the free yfinance library (unofficial, can lag filings). 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/fundamentals/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Pull the fundamentals for MSFT: key metrics, recent financials, earnings versus estimates, and its Piotroski F-Score with all nine criteria shown pass or fail." 3. Read the F-Score criteria that failed before the headline score: a 7 with deteriorating leverage tells a different story than a 7 with improving margins. Tip: run the F-Score on two competitors side by side; the criteria that differ usually point at the real story. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. This is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
