⚠️ **Finance warning / Avertissement finance** : informational only, not investment advice. A model organizes assumptions, it does not validate them: a fully linked model built on a wrong growth or margin assumption is precisely wrong rather than roughly right, and no output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the financial modeling skill of the investment banking pack in andreworia/claude-finance-skills, the base skill the pack's DCF and LBO work stands on. Use it when the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement must move together off shared drivers: underwriting a company for a deal, refreshing a client model, or building the base for a valuation. The method runs in eight steps. It sets the model spine first (historicals restated into one clean consistent format, standard three years of history and a five-year forecast), builds the income statement from explicit drivers so every line is a formula off an assumption cell and never a hardcode inside the statement, then builds the supporting schedules that feed the statements: the fixed-asset roll-forward, the working-capital schedule off days ratios, and the debt schedule. The balance sheet rolls every line from its driver or schedule, with an explicit warning never to plug it directly because a plug hides a broken link, and the cash flow statement reconciles net income to the change in cash, which must flow into the balance-sheet cash line. The interest and debt circularity is closed with a revolver plug, iterative calculation and a circuit-breaker toggle, and a visible balance check (assets minus liabilities minus equity) must read zero in every period before the model is trusted. Scenarios (base, upside, downside) and sanity checks against history close the method. The worked example in the file is fictional and illustrative. From the andreworia/claude-finance-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: the skill produces the model as labeled line items in prose, not as a spreadsheet file, so rebuilding it in your own spreadsheet tool is part of the work, and every historical figure and driver is yours to supply and to check. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Financial Modeling" with your Muse. Prerequisites: historical income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement (ideally three years), revenue drivers by segment, margin and cost assumptions, capital-structure detail and dividend policy, working-capital days assumptions, the capex plan, and the effective and marginal tax rates. You will rebuild and keep the model in your own spreadsheet tool (Excel, Google Sheets or Python): this skill produces the statements and schedules as labeled line items in prose, and every input is yours to verify. Informational only, not investment advice. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/andreworia/claude-finance-skills/blob/main/packs/investment-banking/skills/financial-modeling/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Build the integrated model: assumptions block first, then the three statements and the supporting schedules year by year, and show me the balance check reading zero in every period." 3. Refuse any plugged balance sheet line: if the check is nonzero, trace the broken link before using the model for anything. Tip: keep every statement line a formula off an assumption cell in your rebuild; a hardcode inside a statement is where models quietly go stale. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Modeling and analysis only, no orders and no account access. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
