Financial Analysis

Run a structured deep dive on a company's financials: normalized data, profitability, liquidity, solvency and efficiency ratios, trend analysis, and flagged anomalies.

⚠️ **Finance warning / Avertissement finance** : informational only, not investment advice. A health rating describes the statements in front of the analyst, not the future: companies that screen strong still fail, losses are possible on any decision taken from an analysis, and no output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the financial analysis skill of GAJETOso/financeskills. Use it for a 10-K review, quarterly earnings, a profitability check, or simply when someone says look at these numbers. It starts by checking for corporate context files, then fixes the entity context (public or private, industry, reporting currency and period, GAAP, IFRS or local standard) and the goal of the analysis before touching the data. The framework runs in a set priority order: data extraction and normalization first (revenue, COGS, operating expenses, net income, non-recurring items identified, adjusted EBITDA where applicable), then profitability (gross, operating and net margins, ROE), liquidity (current ratio, quick ratio, days sales outstanding) and solvency (debt to equity, interest coverage), then efficiency ratios, then trend and anomaly detection. Trends are computed year over year and quarter over quarter, with acceleration and deceleration named, and any line item moving more than 15 percent without a clear footnote explanation is flagged, along with earnings management red flags such as revenue growing faster than cash flow. The report structure is fixed: an executive summary with an overall health rating and the top three critical findings, detailed findings on profitability, liquidity, solvency and anomalies, and recommendations split into immediate operational improvements, financial restructuring needs, and questions for management. The bundled calculate.py script computes the ratios with DuPont decomposition and zero-division safety, and the references cover ratio definitions and IFRS versus GAAP differences. From the GAJETOso/financeskills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: the analysis is only as good as the statements you supply, and flagged anomalies are questions to clarify, not proof of a problem. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Use "Financial Analysis" with your Muse. Prerequisites: the three statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for the periods to analyze, the reporting standard (GAAP, IFRS or local) and currency, and the goal of the analysis (general health check, valuation prep, or a liquidity and solvency focus). A spreadsheet tool or Python helps you keep the work: the bundled calculate.py script does the ratio math deterministically, and every figure in the report is yours to verify. Informational only, not investment advice. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/GAJETOso/financeskills/blob/main/skills/financial-analysis/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Run the full framework: normalize the data and strip non-recurring items, compute the profitability, liquidity, solvency and efficiency ratios, run the trend analysis, flag every line moving more than 15 percent without a footnote explanation, and deliver the report with the health rating and the top three findings." 3. Ask for the questions for management list before you act on the recommendations. Tip: if a context file for the company exists in your project, point Muse at it first; the skill reads local context before asking you questions. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Analysis only, no orders and no account access. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
