Earnings Calendar

Upcoming earnings dates for one ticker or a whole watchlist, sorted by date, with before or after market timing and the consensus EPS estimate.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. An earnings date is a risk marker, not a signal: stocks gap on results in both directions, options premiums inflate into the print and collapse after it, and trading around earnings carries a real risk of loss. No output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the next earnings date for one ticker or a comma-separated list, pulled from Yahoo Finance. For each symbol it returns the next earnings date, the timing (BMO, before market open, or AMC, after market close, when known) and the consensus EPS estimate when one is available; for several symbols the results come back sorted by date, soonest first, which turns a watchlist or a portfolio into a simple forward calendar of event risk. It is the planning companion to the rest of this options toolkit: check which of your positions report soon, see the estimate the print will be judged against, and decide your hedging or sizing before the date arrives rather than after. It runs as a Python script (scripts/earnings.py, needs pandas and yfinance) from the staskh/trading_skills repo, with timestamps in New York time and a data delay field stamped on the output. From the staskh/trading_skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: Yahoo Finance dates and estimates are unofficial and can shift, since companies move report dates and estimates get revised, so confirm a date you would act on against the company's own investor relations page; the timing and the estimate can be null when the source has nothing; and this is a calendar lookup, not an earnings forecast or a trade recommendation. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Earnings Calendar" with your Muse. Prerequisites: clone the repo once (git clone https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills) and keep the folder handy; the skills live in .claude/skills/ and the scripts run from the repo with uv (uv run python), or with plain python if uv is not installed. This skill needs pandas and yfinance, installed through the repo project. No API key and no brokerage account are required; the data comes from Yahoo Finance via the free yfinance library (unofficial, possibly delayed). 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/staskh/trading_skills/blob/main/.claude/skills/earnings-calendar/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Build the earnings calendar for AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, NVDA, META: next date, BMO or AMC timing, and EPS estimate for each, sorted by date." 3. Treat the closest dates as risk appointments, not as trade dates: check what premium or position you are carrying into each print before deciding anything. Tip: run your actual holdings through it weekly; the symbol reporting inside your short option's window is the one that changes the trade. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. This is informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
