⚠️ **Finance warning / Avertissement finance** : informational only, not investment advice. Trading and crypto Discord servers mix insight with hype, coordinated pumping and plain noise: treating community chatter as a signal can lead straight to buying what others are exiting, there is a real risk of loss in any trade taken from social sentiment, and no output here is a promise of return. Curated by Skill Harbor: the Discord reader of himself65/finance-skills. Use it to read Discord for financial research through opencli, a CLI bridge that connects to the Discord desktop app itself through the Chrome DevTools Protocol, with no bot account and no token extraction. It lists your servers and channels, lists online members, reads recent messages in the currently active channel, and searches messages, which makes it a way to check what trading, crypto or market communities are saying about a ticker or a coin and to gauge the lean of the discussion. The skill is read-only by design and says so plainly: it does not send, react to, edit or delete messages, and it explicitly forbids invoking the send and delete commands opencli also exposes. Results are presented attributed (username, timestamp, content), grouped by theme for searches, with the bullish or bearish lean and the consensus versus contrarian split noted, and listings shown as tables. It reads only the server and channel currently active in your Discord app, so you navigate to the channel yourself first. From the himself65/finance-skills repository (MIT). Honest caveats: this runs through your own logged-in Discord desktop app, so it sees exactly what your account sees, including private servers; keep CDP endpoints and session details private, start with small reads, and remember that community sentiment is context, never evidence about a security. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Discord Reader" with your Muse. Prerequisites: Node.js 20 or later, opencli installed globally (npm install -g @jackwener/opencli), and the Discord desktop app running with remote debugging enabled (launch it with --remote-debugging-port=9232) with the OPENCLI_CDP_ENDPOINT environment variable set to http://127.0.0.1:9232. No bot account and no token are involved: opencli talks to your own Discord app through CDP. This skill is READ-ONLY through your own account: it never sends, reacts to, edits or deletes messages. Informational only, not investment advice, and there is a real risk of loss in any trade taken from social sentiment. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/himself65/finance-skills/blob/main/plugins/social-readers/skills/discord-reader/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Check the opencli Discord connection, confirm the active server and channel, read the recent messages, and search for the ticker or topic I name. Report what the community is saying, attributed, with the bullish or bearish lean. Read-only, send nothing." 3. Navigate to the target channel in the Discord app yourself before any read: opencli reads the currently active channel only. Tip: start with a read of 20 messages to confirm you are in the right channel before pulling more or searching. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Read-only access through your own Discord app, no write commands. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
