Desk Risk Limits (HyperGrok)

Write your Hyperliquid desk's risk limits once, size every trade from its stop with stressed distance, and get a PASS or REJECT with exact ticket fields.

⚠️ **Trading warning / Avertissement trading** : informational only, not investment advice. Risk limits reduce how much a bad day can cost; they do not make a strategy profitable, and a gap through a stop can still exceed every number in the file. Curated by Skill Harbor: the risk-management skill of HyperGrok, Galleon Labs' seven-agent trading desk for Hyperliquid, and the gate every other desk skill answers to. It works in two halves. First, the limits themselves: an interview, one question at a time, writes a versioned limits file (network, account, maximum risk per trade and in total, leverage cap, maximum positions, allowed markets, mandatory exchange-resting stops, a daily loss stop, slippage tolerance, correlated-cluster limits, and standing approvals, which may only ever cover reduce-only protective stops, never entries). Hard desk ceilings sit above the file (2% of equity per trade, 6% total open risk, 20x leverage, a 10% daily loss stop): a limits file looser than a ceiling is not applied, and no agent may raise a ceiling. Second, sizing: every proposed trade is sized from its stop using a stressed distance that adds realistic slippage on the triggered stop plus both legs' taker fees, rounded down to the market's size decimals and checked against margin tiers, free margin with headroom, total open risk including reservations for pending tickets, and the daily loss stop; the worked example shows the naive calculation quietly overspending a 0.5% budget on every trade. The output is a PASS with the full arithmetic, or a REJECT naming the one failed gate. A book check rounds it out: equity, positions, per-position protection, orphaned orders, and day PnL against the daily stop. From the galleonlabs/hypergrok-trading-desk repository (MIT). Honest caveats: the limits bind only a desk that routes every ticket through them, a stale or failed account read must be treated as unavailable rather than as a clean book, and the stress is an assumption to widen on thin depth, not a promise about fills. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

How to check a build before installing →

Use "Desk Risk Limits (HyperGrok)" with your Muse. Prerequisites: a cloned copy of the repo (git clone https://github.com/galleonlabs/hypergrok-trading-desk) and the sibling data and account skills for live reads. Writing the limits file needs no key and no account; sizing a trade reads your live account state, and the write actions those sizes feed belong to the orders skill and its ticket rules. Set your limits before any mainnet use; sensible starting points for a first file are testnet, 0.25 to 0.5% risk per trade, and leverage of 3x or lower. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/galleonlabs/hypergrok-trading-desk/blob/main/skills/desk-risk-limits/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Interview me one question at a time and write my risk limits file, versioned and dated, within the desk ceilings." 3. For any proposed trade, require the full sizing arithmetic from the stressed distance and a PASS or a REJECT naming the failed gate; never accept a size derived from the nominal stop distance alone. Tip: the limits file is yours to change, in chat, with a reason recorded; an agent that offers to loosen a ceiling for you is failing the skill, not helping. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. It gates real-money actions taken elsewhere in the desk; it places no orders itself. Informational only, not investment advice.

Questions

How do I install a build?

Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.

Where does my money go?

Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.

What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?

It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
