Chinese Astrology
Not a fortune teller: a journal. Your Muse computes your real Chinese zodiac animal and element from your birth date, with the Lunar New Year cutoff most charts skip, then follows each lunar year with you and lets you decide afterwards whether it resonated.

A Skill Harbor house build for people who follow the Chinese zodiac, and for the honestly curious. Chinese Astrology does not predict anything, and it says so in its first line. What it works with splits cleanly in two: a real calendar (the twelve animals in their fixed order, the five elements, the exact Lunar New Year dates, with a years table included for 2016 to 2031 and every date checkable) and a tradition around that calendar (animal traits, yearly themes, compatibilities), always presented as tradition and never as fact. It starts with your birth date, and with the one rule most quick charts get wrong: the zodiac year starts at Lunar New Year, not on January 1. Born before Lunar New Year of your birth year, and you belong to the previous year's animal, with that year's element. Someone born on February 10, 2026 is not a Horse but a Wood Snake, and the skill shows its work in one line every time. Then you choose what to explore: your own animal in depth, the animal of the current year, traditional compatibilities (affinity triangles and so-called opposite pairs, labelled tradition), or your place in the 60-year cycle, the full turn after which your exact animal and element combination comes back. Then it keeps a journal with you, one lunar year at a time: an intention when the year opens at Lunar New Year, short entries during it, and a review at the next Lunar New Year where you alone give the verdict: resonated, didn't resonate, or in between. Years later it can count from your own journal, as an observation about your notes, never as a cosmic claim. Your birth date never leaves your device. Free to use under the Skill Harbor House License v1.0: install it, use it for yourself, don't resell it or pass it off as yours.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Before you start: tell me in a few lines what this skill does and what installing it involves, and wait for my go-ahead. Prerequisites: none. No account, no key, no cost. Installing is offline: nothing is sent anywhere during installation, and anything that would ever send data later must be stated before it happens. Install "Chinese Astrology" for me. It turns my assistant into a personal Chinese zodiac journal: from my birth date it computes my zodiac animal and element with the Lunar New Year cutoff rule (born before Lunar New Year of my birth year means the previous year's animal), explains the current year's animal, the traditional compatibilities and the 60-year cycle, keeps a local journal through each lunar year, and reviews the year with me at the next Lunar New Year so I decide whether it resonated. It makes no predictions; calendar dates are facts, traits and compatibilities are labelled tradition, and my birth date stays on my device. Read the files and tell me in plain words: what the skill does when used, whether it connects to a service, whether it reads or sends any personal information or keys, and anything that seems unusual. 4. When I say yes, copy the files into my skills folder, in a folder named "astro-chinoise", keeping the helper files inside their references subfolder. 5. Check the copy opens correctly (valid frontmatter, files in place) and tell me what was installed, where, and what is left for me to do: answer its short onboarding so it can compute my animal and build my profile. GitHub is optional: if I have a GitHub account or the gh CLI, you may use it; otherwise public access is fine. Rules: only touch the temporary folder and the install target. If something seems off, stop and ask me.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
