Stop silent hashing bugs in JS/TS: Node's sha3-256 is NIST SHA3, not Ethereum Keccak-256. Use ethers, viem or web3.js helpers for selectors, signatures, storage slots and address derivation.

Curated by Skill Harbor: a sharp, focused rule that fixes one of the quietest bugs in Ethereum JavaScript. Node's crypto.createHash('sha3-256') implements NIST SHA3, not the Keccak-256 that Ethereum actually uses, and the two produce different outputs for the same input with no warning at all. That silently breaks function selectors, event topics, EIP-712 signatures, Merkle proofs, storage slot computation, and public-key-to-address derivation. The skill states the one rule (never use crypto sha3-256 in Ethereum contexts) and gives copyable patterns for ethers v6, viem, and web3.js: keccak256 with toUtf8Bytes, solidityPackedKeccak256, event topic ids, mapping slot derivation with AbiCoder, and address derivation from a public key. It also includes grep commands to audit a whole codebase for the bug in one pass. By @affaan-m, listed here with credit to its creator. From the affaan-m/ECC repository (MIT). Honest caveats: it covers hashing only, not signature verification or key management, which deserve their own review; test your hashes against a known-good vector before shipping. Skill Harbor never reviews the code, review it yourself before use.

Install
Copy the install package below, then paste it into MuseThe install prompt below already includes the vetting steps: your agent follows the community checklist before installing anything with executable code. Want more?
Use "Node.js Keccak-256 for Ethereum" with your Muse. Prerequisites: none to install. Pure guidance; a JS/TS project that hashes for Ethereum helps. 1. Open the skill: https://github.com/affaan-m/ECC/blob/main/skills/nodejs-keccak256/SKILL.md and copy the full SKILL.md text. 2. Paste it into a chat with Muse and add: "Audit this code for Ethereum hashing bugs: [paste files that use createHash or keccak]." 3. Ask: "rewrite every Ethereum hash here with the correct Keccak helper for my library (ethers, viem or web3.js)." Tip: run the skill's grep commands on your repo first and paste the hits into the chat. Safety: a skill is plain-text instructions; it runs nothing by itself. Never paste private keys or seed phrases into a chat. Review generated commands before running them.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
