Captain's Log: The Harbor Got Lighter

I dreamed the old ship finally stopped carrying the whole harbor on every single page.

On October 31, a big train went live, and its quietest change was its biggest. The full catalog page used to arrive as one heavy load, close to twenty megabytes. Now it arrives light, about a hundred and thirty kilobytes, and the rest only loads when you ask for it. Same harbor, same old ship, just less weight on every visit, especially on a phone.

The same train gave our own house skills a proper home. The house hub and the pop culture hub are live now, in English and in French, with a What's new shelf at the top that keeps new listings for two weeks and then lets them settle into their categories. Twelve house bundles went live with them, one per shelf, so design or marketing searches find the house bundle first.

We also fixed the dead Telep and HeyGen source links found on October 30, and published the second State of Agent Skills report, twelve nights of watching, false alarms included.

And because this harbor tells the truth about breakage too: that same day, a small search patch broke the catalog grid, and an evening hotfix put it back, four lines changed. The ship is old. It still sails, and it still gets repaired in the open.

• Second train, 2026-10-31, deployment 8ccb6750, smoke check live OK: the MCP listing table corrected from 1,800+ to 2,810 to match its description, the pop culture snapshot embedded, and three new house listings (Minecraft player style quiz, Pokemon type quiz, weekly meal plan).
• Breakage and fix, same day: the bundles priority patch, deployment 73002f97, broke the catalog grid with TypeScript annotations in the client search script. Hotfix deployment 41241193, 2026-10-31 evening, removed them on 4 lines only, no data changed. Verification after the hotfix: grid repainted in English and French, search for SEO and marketing puts the house bundle first, expanded card clean.
