AI agents forget. Context windows fill up, old facts disappear, and naive RAG pulls irrelevant noise. Sulcus is a persistent, proactive, intelligent memory engine for AI agents. The core idea is simple: treat the prompt window like registers and long-term storage like RAM (a virtual memory management unit for your agent). Every memory carries heat (0.0 to 1.0). New facts start hot, unused ones cool down over time, frequently accessed ones stay warm, just like real memory. Recall doesn't rely on vector similarity alone: it combines semantic search, full-text with phrase proximity, thermodynamic heat, knowledge-graph neighbors, temporal recency, and keyword overlap. What is inside: - Thermodynamic decay: three modes (time-only, interaction-only, hybrid). Ignored memories fade, important ones persist. - Knowledge graph: entities and relationships extracted automatically. Mentioning a topic warms related concepts through the graph. - SIU pipeline: every stored memory passes a quality gate (rejects noise before storage), an automatic type classifier (episodic, semantic, fact, preference, procedural, synthesis), and entity extraction. - Reactive triggers: rules that fire on memory events (store, recall, boost, decay): notify, boost, pin, tag, webhook. Your agent can react to its own memory changes instead of only answering queries. - Context engine: manages the whole context window (constructive assembly, overflow prevention, working-memory cache, session knowledge extraction). Two modes, your choice: 1. Local-only: no credentials, zero network calls. Everything stays in ~/.sulcus/data/ on your machine. 2. Cloud: hosted API at api.sulcus.ca. Requires an API key (get one at sulcus.ca, Dashboard, API Keys). Free tier, no credit card required. Clients available: OpenClaw plugin, npm CLI, Python SDK, Claude Code MCP plugin. Live portal: sulcus.ca. The repository is the open-source client distribution; the server backend is proprietary.

Install Sulcus, the thermodynamic memory engine for AI agents. Repository (open-source client distribution: SDKs, integrations, plugins, CLI): https://github.com/digitalforgeca/sulcus Note: the server backend is proprietary and is NOT in this repo, only the clients are. Prerequisites: Node 18+ (npm CLI / OpenClaw plugin) or Python 3.10+ (Python SDK). No database to set up, local mode embeds everything. Two modes (explain both, then default to LOCAL-ONLY unless I say otherwise): 1. Local-only: no credentials, zero network calls. Memory stays in ~/.sulcus/data/ on my machine. 2. Cloud: hosted API. I need an API key from https://sulcus.ca (Dashboard, API Keys); configure serverUrl https://api.sulcus.ca with my key. Free tier, no credit card required. Steps: pick the client that fits my setup (OpenClaw plugin via `openclaw plugin install openclaw-sulcus`, npm CLI via `npm install -g sulcus-cli`, Python SDK, or the Claude Code MCP plugin), install it, configure the chosen mode, then verify with a store + recall round-trip (store a test fact, recall it, delete it) and show me it working. Report what you installed, where the config lives, and which mode is active. Never send my memory content anywhere without telling me first.

Questions
How do I install a build?
Every product page includes a copy-paste install prompt. Paste it into your Muse and it sets the build up for you — no manual configuration.
Where does my money go?
Straight to the seller. Skill Harbor never processes payments: checkout happens on the seller’s own page, usually Stripe.
What does the ✓ next to a creator’s name mean?
It means we confirmed the identity of the person behind the listing. It says nothing about the code itself — always check a build before installing it.
