This skill helps your resume survive the robots: it tests ATS compatibility (file format, standard fonts, no tables or columns, standard section headers, text-based PDF), extracts keywords from a job description, and calculates a match score with a target of 80%+. It flags parser-breaking formatting patterns (creative layouts, unconventional headers, keyword stuffing) and suggests exact keyword placements with before/after examples, including industry-specific guidance. Caveat: it optimizes for machine screening, not human persuasion — use it to get past the parser, then make sure the resume still reads well to a person. Discovered via skills.sh.
