This skill writes personalized cover letters from your resume plus the job description: 250–400 words in business-letter format, opening with one of five hook types (company knowledge, mutual connection, problem-solver, achievement, industry insight), connecting your strongest experience to their top requirement with metrics, and strategically addressing any gaps. It also drafts alternative openings and interview talking points pulled from the letter. Caveat: the letter is only as truthful as the inputs you feed it — verify every claim yourself before sending, and never invent achievements. Discovered via skills.sh.
